Max Fried, AMFT
Therapy begins with the questions: What does it mean to heal? How do you relate to yourself? How do you relate to others? Healing is not about fixing what is “broken,” but about discovering authenticity, meaning, and purpose in the human experience. Therapy provides an environment to practice our humanity. It is a space to connect ourselves to others and to the larger systems around us, exploring and reimagining them.
In my work with individuals, couples, and families, I support clients in navigating the complexities of relationships in all their forms, including those who identify as LGBTQIA+, parents, men, and people in non-traditional relationship dynamics. Drawing on somatic, attachment-based, psychodynamic, and existential approaches, I offer guidance to clients as they deepen awareness of their bodies and their stored emotional histories.
This is an inclusive and affirming space where people of all genders, orientations, and backgrounds feel seen, supported, and empowered so that your story can unfold in new ways. In our sessions, feelings can be expressed fully, new perspectives can emerge, and the possibility of deeper connection with yourself and others can take root. I focus on guiding clients toward greater resilience, authenticity, and meaningful connection within themselves and in their relationships.
